Didn't have a smiley for 'Tom is not a hsppy chap' Scrumper but thanks for the almost literal translation to help him with his own 'comprehension' problems.

I'm not sure that is the context for Mr Seymour's use of the term Sunshine Grizzz. He takes himself a little too seriously for any amusement to be involved. Everything moving that way is usually 'sad and pathetic'.

Misses the 'mote' in his own eye almost every time he gets involved with those who don't agree with him. Let him without sin cast the first stone and all that.

It could be a very good time! Personally, I would love to be there right now.

Interesting piece on Jack, with confirmation that the selection panel for the Ashes were split between him & Mason Crane

Tom Lammonby made 81 for Eng U19s in their 50 over tour match v NW academy in Potchefstroom this morning. Tom Banton (11) and Fin Trenouth (26) also playing. Eng U19 256-9 off their 50 overs; its currently the interval between innings. I found the scorecard on the ECB website; sadly no scorecard for the Lions match in Queensland but report says Jack took one wicket.

Somerset all-rounder Tom Lammonby top scored with 81 in England Under 19s` first tour match in South Africa. Fin Trenouth contributed 26 and Tom Banton 11 to the 50-over score of 256-9. Rain is delaying the North West Academy reply.

Good to see Roelof van der Merwe top score with 175 (193 balls) out of the Netherlands` 501-8 in the ICC Continental Cup against Namibia in Dubai.

No sign of Paul van Meekeren in the team, but George Dockrell playing for Ireland against a Josh Davey-less Scotland in the same competition.

This is the last ICC Cup before Ireland assume Test status.

Lammonby (35) and Trenouth (42) made useful contributions to the Eng U19 score of 290/5.

Anyone have any update on how Jove is doing in his recovery ?

The coming season is likely to be 'make or break' for his career methinks. Hopefully the former.

Another good day for Lammonby and Trenouth, if not Banton:

Last I heard Jove was still on the sick list!

Make or break season? Ummm, he has had a couple of those already. It really is time to step up or try something different.

Jamie is fighting fit.
He is on winter ecb pace programme.
Has been in full training split between Somerset pre season and Loughborough training weeks.
Per end of season news story on our own website he is off to Spain Saturday for ecb programme stint. Then i believe a further warm week in SA post Xmas.
According to Craigs paper column he is also fitting in a trip down under for the last 2 tests.
He has made tweaks to his position at delivery and will be 100% come Apr20.....
Sorry if this is a bit too positive for some of the Overton bashers!

Positive, Yes but positive wishful thinking I assume. Who are the "Overton bashers." They sound like a street gang from Instow.
