Not to be forgotten. Max Holden set a new Mx individual record in List A with his 166 beating Andrew Strauss's 163 at the Oval. Well done Max. A superb innings.

The only real weakness at the moment is trying to cobble together 10 overs out of Scott, Holden and Robson. We need extra runs to allow for those 10 overs.

In other matters, congratulations to all the teams that couldn't qualify yesterday, for respecting the integrity of the competition by picking the best sides they could, and putting their best feet forward.

That wasn't the case in the north group where Yorkshire put out an extremely depleted side against Durham, In the end it wasn't relevant, as rain made it a no result, but if Durham had won it would have denied Lancashire.

Now, I bet if Durham had done that Yorkshireman Graves would have been deducting them points for next years competition- but will anything happen to Yorkshire?

A lot of unfamiliar names on the scorecard-

Agree your with your sentiments chunky. The South Group put their best foot forward and made this an excellent competition. Well done to Kent who made yesterday's game an excellent day's cricket. Good food as well and allowed the travelling Mx support to enjoy their day.
