Twenty20 world cup fixtures announced

The dates for the first Twenty20 world cup have been released which will be held in South Africa next year. The tournament will be between the 21st and the 30th of September but the Venues still need to be confirmed.
12 countries will compete it out to be the first Twenty20 world champions and South Africa are delighted to have the first tournament held there.
Gerald Majola said South Africa Cricket is excited by the prospect:
"We will approach it in the same manner as we did the World Cup in 2003."
"We have agreed that the tournament will take place in three cities but we have yet to decide where."
The twenty20 type of game was invented by England has become very popular over here attracting younger viewers and more crowds to games. It has also been tried out on the international stage by England and Australia so this tournament so live up to its hype.
Although South Africa are having the first Twenty20 tournament, England will have the second which will delight the fans.
