Lehmann May Play Against Essex

Yorkshire will wait until the weekend to establish whether Darren Lehmann will be available for the counties Twenty20 Quarter Final showdown with Essex on Monday. Lehmann sustained the calf injury in the last round of Championship matches against Durham.

Lehmann was forced to bat in the second innings with a runner and he is definitely out of tomrrow's Championship match against Warwickshire and the Sunday Pro40 game against Leicestershire.

Physiotherapist Scott McAllister confirmed "He won't play against Warwickshire or against Leicestershire. He is able to bat, but he can't run and you can't go into a game like that."
