In the first of several MTWD caption competitions, we have raided Turkey Leader Mark's photo gallery (many thanks to him) and found a topical picture to start the ball rolling. COMPETITION NOW CLOSED - RESULTS COMING SOON
This will
be the first of several photo caption competitions this winter on MTWD.
The
photograph below, which appears prominently on the MTWD Middlesex Supporters’
Photo Site, depicts Paul Weekes going out to bat in
his last one day innings for Middlesex.
Lance Klusener, a former Middlesex overseas
player, is also just visible.
All you
need to do is come up with an amusing caption and e-mail that caption to:

the subject line “Weekes Caption Competition”.
Stumps
for this competition will be drawn at 23:59 GMT on 31 October 2006.
The most
entertaining entries will be published on MTWD in a mini hall of fame/shame and
there will be a tiny but appropriate prize for the best entry. An enormously distinguished panel of judges will
decide the winner and those judges' decision will be final.
