According to rumours Sussex bowler Paul Hutchison has signed for Middlesex. A former England A paceman, he has a County Championship average of 25.92 and his bowling statistics would certainly warrent a regular starting spot.
The move comes after he requested an early end to his contract due to a lack of chances to get into the first team after recovering from a shin splints injury.
Hutchison said: "Sussex have been very good about it.
"They could have held me to my contract, but at this stage of my career I cannot afford another season in the second team and they understand that.
"Although several other counties were interested I chose Middlesex as I feel they are on the up and the coach John Emburey came across as very ambitious."
