Rain Ruins Last ODI

England have won the One Day Series with the West Indies, 2-0, thanks to rain washing out the prospect of the last 50 over contest between the two sides...

There was little chance of play following heavy morning rain, and it quickly became obvious in the early afternoon, that the clouds were not going to left, and enable play to get underway at any stage during the day.

It means that England's victories down in Southampton, and at the Oval, gives the home side a 2-0 win.

There will be a one off Twenty20 match at Trent Bridge on Sunday.
