Bears Maul The Vikings

The Yorkshire puddings were comprehensively outplayed by their hosts who cruised to victory with no fewer than 25 balls to spare. Apart from failing to set an adequate target, the visitors' cause was totally undone when the seam duo of Jack Brooks and Matthew Fisher conceded ninety-one runs off a mere 6.5 overs. The Tykes would need to have posted a total in excess of 250 to nullify those awful bowling statistics. Ah well, it remains very much a case of one step forward and one step back avec the Yorkshire puddings in twenty overs cricket. C'est la vie.
