I concur.
Those able to bowl spells of 90mph are so rare and so useful on test type pitches.
They are such an asset they need to be used properly and not feared.....

Rooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooot

A little too late to save the series, the cracks are still there, but it shows what a difference some resilience makes. Well done Denly as well, is he coming to Taunton in April?

Joe Denly will be at the IPL when Kent come to Taunton in April for the first championship match of the season, as will his county captain Sam Billings.

Has there ever been more unsavoury behaviour by an England cricketer during a Test match than Rory Burns` non-stop mastication of a massive wad of pink bubble gum at St. Lucia today, followed by the constant blowing through his lips of obnoxious giant bubbles to mark the simple catch he dropped off Moeen Ali?

... should have used the gum to make his hands sticky.

Quite agree CJM. Think it must be something he’s picked up from Aaron Finch at Surrey (blowing bubbles not dropping catches!)

Probably a West Ham supporter who performs this on the terraces every game.

Say no more.

As ever, Shakespeare, not too impressed, got there first:

Then a soldier. Full of strange oaths, and bearded like the pard, Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel, Seeking the bubble reputation. Even in the cannon’s mouth.

Very disappointing news that Paul Farbrace is leaving the England set-up to join Warwickshire. Much like Mike Phelan at ManU, I feel Farbrace is a real power behind England's recent success - and even then, Bayliss leaves at the end of the summer too. I fear England's loss will be Warks' gain, and other counties (maybe ours) will suffer in the subsequent shuffling of deck chairs.
