The games are coming thick and fast.

We finish a quarter on Friday and move to a semi on Sunday.

Same team?

Cannot see Jason Kerr and Tom making any changes.

Trent Bridge has been phenomenally flat. So the question is - do you maximise your bowling options in the hope of containment, or pack your side with the maximum possible amount of batting so you can go all out batting attack for as many of the 50 overs as possible?

£53 for coach ticket Sunday from Taunton 🙈🙈🙈
£12 for ticket in advance, only £1 for kids
In comparison £25 was Worcs today, im guessing 800 there today, maybe 1000 maximum, including several 100 away fans.....

At least the club are putting on a travel and ticket package at short notice for supporters. Some counties wouldn’t bother. Very tempted to go!

Poor crowd at Worcester yesterday, but a number of factors for this. Ticket prices, dodgy weather forecast (although got incredibly lucky), the fixture was on a working day at short notice so difficult for supporters to get time off work.

Completely understandable as to why there was a low turnout.

Even lower turnout at Lord`s, despite Mark Ramprakash doing his best for his Sky TV masters by commenting - `the crowds in the stands are cheering`.

Perhaps he meant both of them - not the stands but the spectators.

Nottinghamshire opener Ben Slater, who has been out injured since the Warwickshire match on April 23, is back in contention for tomorrow`s semi-final.

He returned to action with 49 against Leicestershire Seconds on Thursday.

Former England ODI international Harry Gurney, who has told Nottinghamshire he is only playing white ball cricket this summer, has flown home from the IPL and been parachuted into the squad for tomorrow`s semi-final. One can only guess what the player who has `filled in` for him in the eight group matches thinks about it all.

Also among the 15 named are Joe Clarke, who is still waiting to hear whether he faces further ECB Discipline Committee proceedings in the wake of the rape trial of his former Worcestershire colleague Alex Hepburn, and Alex Hales, like Clarke also recently suspended from playing for England at any level.

Squad: Ball, Carter, Chappell, Clarke, Duckett, Gurney, Hales, Fletcher, Moores, Mullaney (c), Nash, Patel, Pattinson, Slater, Wood.

Captain Steve Mullaney is well known as one of the nicest and most principled men on the county circuit. I wonder what he thinks about it all.

I thought you could not be involved in the knock out stage if you had not taken part in the group stages.

I think that only applies to overseas players

Nottinghamshire are without their overseas player, fast bowler James Pattinson, who has been recalled early ahead of the Australia `A` tour of England.

BBC com seems to be three balls behind the live stream.

But BBC radio five sports extra is one ball ahead of the live stream.

Take your choice what you like.

My BBC com is one ball behind, Mike.

I prefer it that way (assuming it can't be synched).

Nothing worse than watching the feed, thinking "this is going well," then hearing about a dismissal that you haven't yet seen!

I would have thought there is nothing better than hearing about a Nottinghamshire dismissal before you have seen it.

Some suggestion of the odd slight stickiness in the pitch at times. But as little lateral movement as expected.

Looks at least a 350 deck to me, very possibly 400.

With off-spinner Matthew Carter going for 24 in his second over, Notts captain Steve Mullaney is almost certainly going to have to fill in as sixth bowler.
