Lewis Goldsworthy and Kasey Aldridge looking good against Windies this morning. Excellent Max Waller c&b for Goldsworthy and Aldridge looks pacey.

Yep. Too far behind. Good start. Wet finish.

Disappointingly, England allowed Australia with eight wickets down to score forty off the last three overs and thus win the match,

Good grief.

Perhaps the Aussies got their batting order wrong but, if not, looks pretty poor from England?

What I can't make out is how England, Australia and the West Indies come to be in the same group in the first place - does anyone have any idea about the seeding system?

England under 19s playing Sri Lanka today - does anyone know if this is the (plate) final?

Young, Goldsworthy and Aldridge all in the England XI - though Sam Young went for 0. 108-2 off 21.

Daniel Mousely just reached 100. Semi final? India v Pakistan is a semi as well.

9th and 10th, I guess - everyone except the eight who made it to the quarters.
Not what, I suspect, would have been hoped before the tournament - but I still can't understand how Eng, Aus and WI came to be in the same group.

I think Goldsworthy played in all the matches and seems to have bowled very economically. I assume he is a slow bowler and could be the third to emerge from the Somerset age groups in recent years.

Kasey Aldridge also played all the games I saw. England seemed to do well but couldn't produce winning scores. 279 today might change that though SL bowled well at the end.

Well, I got that one right! Goldsworthy 5/21 in seven overs. He sounds a bit special.

Yep, Goldsworthy has returned excellent figures in all the games, notably in this plate final. Young and Aldridge haven't been as noteworthy, but I'm certain the experience will have been good and it's great for Somerset to have such recognised young players.

I watched today's game and thought Goldsworthy bowled superbly. If anything he reminded me of Roelof.
