That’s good news. Hope he does as well as he did for us previously

Babar
Banton
Eddie/Hildy
Tom A
Corey
Lewis
Rvdm
Tom L
Craig
Jamie
Max

Assuming Abell nor Corey will bowl then Lewis has to bat 6 to get 6 bowling options in the team.

Not expecting Vernon or Brooks to play T20 so bowling pretty much picks itself.

Really happy with the overseas signings. Huge fire power now 1 to 10.

Not sure how much we will see of Tom B and I imagine ECB will limit Craig’s involvement. I expect Dom to be shoehorned in.

See our old mucker Jerome has got a 3 year contract with Glos to play all forms of cricket! Didn’t see that coming!

Don’t be too surprised, folks, if he does quite well.

Games based on a maximum of 4 overs of bowling provide a tiny individual sample size and a pretty small collective one (over one season). And even in the season (the second one) for which most criticise him, it wasn’t all bad.

Of course, T20 also has nothing to do with bowling with a red Dukes ball, either.

Somerset County Cricket Club today announced the appointment of Gordon Hollins as Chief Executive Officer.

He will take up the role on March 16th, 2020.

Gordon Bennett, another Gordon

We'll have to educate him that the Hundred hasn't quite made it to Somerset and we're rather proud of being the current 50-over Champions...

Hmmm.....

Wish him well, but will be very interested to hear his views on the future of County Cricket, given his ECB role.

Any evidence that he's ever even been to Taunton?

I see that Mr Hollins has the Andy Nash seal of approval. Nash says that Gordon was instrumental in Taunton getting international fixtures, and that he is a real supporter of county cricket.

Happy to see Mr A - a tried and tested part of the team.

Will have to reserve judgement on Mr H until we see some performance on a Somerset level. Not sure how much a comment about his work at the ECB is a testament to his usefulness as the CEO of an anathema to the central body's plan.

As a supporter of COUNTY cricket I'd welcome anyone but what does Mr Hollins understand as the definition of that term? Well we may have to wait and see in relation to the detail.

That is good to hear Bobstan.
