I've just spent a little time playing around with things. A combined table is below

P W T L D A BatBP BowBP Adj Pts
1 1 Som 4 3 0 0 1 0 8 12 0 76
2 1 Derby 4 2 0 0 2 0 13 10 0 71
3 2 Worcs 4 2 0 0 2 0 13 9 0 70
4 1 Essex 4 3 0 0 1 0 5 9 0 70
5 2 Yorks 4 2 0 0 2 0 9 9 0 66
6 2 Kent 4 2 0 1 1 0 12 12 0 64
7 3 Middx 4 2 0 1 1 0 8 11 0 59
8 4 Hants 4 2 0 1 1 0 4 10 0 54
9 3 Lancs 4 1 0 1 2 0 6 8 0 46
10 3 Leics 4 1 0 1 2 0 4 10 0 46
11 5 Notts 4 0 0 2 2 0 15 12 0 43
12 3 Warks 4 0 0 1 3 0 7 11 0 42
13 4 Norths 4 1 0 2 1 0 4 11 0 39
14 5 Gloucs 4 1 0 2 1 0 3 10 0 37
15 6 Glam 4 0 0 2 2 0 5 10 0 31
16 5 Sussex 4 1 0 3 0 0 5 9 0 30
17 6 Durh 4 0 0 2 2 0 5 7 0 28
18 6 Surrey 4 0 0 4 0 0 4 10 0 14

Based on this, I think the following is true to win the group (no one below Hants can win their group):

South Group:
Essex win and take a max of 5 pts less than Kent
Essex draw and Kent fail to draw with 6 more bonus points or win
Middlesex win and gain 5/6 points more than Kent
Kent win and take 6 points more than Essex
Hampshire win and more bonus points than Essex
Kent draw with more than 6 bonus points than Essex

South-West Group

Somerset win
Somerset draw with up to 5 fewer bonus points
Worcs win
Worcs draw with 6/7 more bonus points

North Group

Derbyshire win with up to 5 fewer bonus points than Yorkshire
Derbyshire and Yorkshire Draw without getting 5 more bonus points
Yorkshire win with more than 6 extra bonus points
Yorkshire win and Derbyshire fail to win

I see Middlesex 2nd XI lost to Somerset by 314 runs, being dismissed for 76 and 70.

Grass isn't always greener on the other side of the Radlett hedge.
