The first four days of the final
nPower Test match against India at the AMP Oval have sold out. With the series tied at 1-1 demand for tickets has been high and the
18,500-capacity venue will once again be packed to the rafters. Paul Sheldon, Surrey County Cricket Club chief executive, said: "This
is the only nPower Test match this summer to have sold out four days in
advance and is hard evidence that the hunger for Test cricket is as strong
as ever. "This huge demand is one of the main reasons for the club's ambitious
redevelopment plans to modernise facilities and increase seating capacity
(to 23,000) of the AMP Oval." |
