Test series sponsors nPower are said to be disappointed at Michael Vaughan not discussing his great innings with the media. However, their spokesman still hailed Vaughan's superb undefeated knock, that has put England in a strong position in the final test against India.

sponsors npower were "disappointed" Michael Vaughan did not discuss his
unbeaten 182 with the media after the first day of the fourth Test against
India. Reporters' attempts to talk to Vaughan were thwarted, according to the
Daily Mail, when he was escorted from The Oval by security guards. "As Test series sponsors we respect the team's right to be focused on
winning the series," npower spokesman Wayne Rabin told the Daily Mail. "At the same time it is disappointing that an opportunity to promote a
magnificent innings and day's cricket has been missed." |
