Lancs on the road this week

Lancashire hope to kick start their season with trips to Durham, Devon and Middlesex this week, although injuries may mean the Red Rose County are unable to pick their strongest eleven.

LCCC travel to Durham on Bank Holiday Monday in the NCL, followed by a C and G cup tie at Devon, and finally a Championship match at Lords between Friday and Monday.

The game at Exmouth against the part-timers may be the perfect opportunity for Mike Watkinson to give some of his fringe players a chance, and rest some of the regulars.

James Anderson has a niggle and Gary Keedy is also struggling, although both would hope to play some part unless Anderson is kept out by the national side.
