Imps top football league scoring charts

Lincoln City have scored more goals than any other fotball league team this story, being the only team to score 11 with only a further 5 teams to reach double figures. City have yet to go goalless so far this season and if you include the Carling Cup, City have scored 14 goals in 6 games.

City have only failed to score more than once on a single occasion so far this season and that was the 1-1 draw with Notts County. Since then, City have scored twice on 3 occasions and scored 4 on the one occasions. That is more than any other team in the country with the only team with a better goals:games average being Manchester United, who have scored 10 in just 3 Premiership games so far.

It's a sign of the times at Sincil Bank that under the new style of play, that City always look like scoring and what's even more promising is that the goals are coming from all over the pitch with 7 different players scoring so far for the Imps in the league. If City can keep this average of 11 in 5 up then the Imps could potentially surpass the 100 goals mark.
