And the former Premiership star is....

After weeks of speculation about who the former Premiership player coming to Sincil Bank would be, it's Nicky Eaden. The 33 year old is a surprise loanee to Sincil Bank from Nottingham Forest as City already have several players able to cover his right-back position.

Eaden has had a successful career, winning promotion with Barnsley, Birmingham and Wigan and almost achieveing a playoff position with Nottingham Forest last season. He is a former team-mate of Imps' defender, Adie Moses and should be a good addition to the squad.

The speculation has been rife around Sincil Bank since Deehan announced he hoped to bring in a former Premiership player and since then, fans have thrown around unrealistic names such as Chris Sutton and Dion Dublin.

He has been given the number 12 but whether he starts in tomorrow's game against Accrington Stanley is anyone's guess.
