City gaining confidence as Wise leaves

Everything that could go wrong for City's next opponents, is going wrong at the minute as Dennis Wise has officially left. The former England midfielder had been the subject of interest from Leeds United over the last few days and they confirmed this evening that he is their new manager.

Wise signed just hours before watching his new side lose 3-1 at home to Southend United in the Carling Cup. Wise won his first 7 league matches in charge of Swindon  but they had been struggling recently as injuries and suspensions just built up and with City currently scoring for fun, fans of both sides are starting to believe that City will have an easy time on Saturday afternoon.

David Tuttle had initially agreed to be caretaker manager for the Wiltshire club, but he then decided that he wanted to stay working with the youth team and now club captain Ady Williams has taken over. He takes over a side that will be missing arguably their side's best player, goalkeeper Brezovan is likely to be out for the rest of the season after breaking his arm. Several other first teamers are defenders and some Swindon fans are fearing the worst.

The same definately can't be said for Imps fans who have quickly snapped up the "early-bird" tickets that City had been sent and the club had to request more from Swindon. City are believed to be eventually supported be around 1,000 fans at the County Ground as the Imps aim to make it 4 league wins in a row and hopefully finally gain top spot.
