Peterborough game still in limbo

Lincoln City still don't know if they'll have to rearrange the home game with Peterborough after they drew in the Cup. The 4th round is due to be played on the same day that City are due to face Peterborough at home, but we'll have to wait for over a week to find out if the game will go ahead.

In a game that was apparantly controlled by the visitors, 10 man Plymouth Argyle opened the scoring after an Aljofree penalty with around 15 minutes to go. Aaron McLean equalised just a few minutes earlier. It means that Peterborough now go into the draw for the 4th round, and if they can beat Plymouth in the replay, they could be potentially making the trip to a Premiership ground rather than Sincil Bank on the 27th of January.

Results in League 2 were favourable for the Imps with neither Hartlepool or Wycombe winning, both being held to 1-1 draws to Shrewsbury and Rochdale respectively. Boston beat Accrington Stanley to ease relegation worries.
