Will Fight For Money

Steff Wright's quest to get Lincoln City £50,000 via the Coca-Cola "Win A Player" campaign, is now in movie form. In a piece that was filmed 3 weeks ago, Steff Wright walked around the City in a sumo-wrestler costume whilst trying to promote the club, and got a bit sweaty in the process.

When the Coca-Cola campaign was launched, several clubs declared their own appeals to try and get their clubs money. Some appeals were quite unimaginative, including serving burgers at half time, get hair cut in the middle of the pitch, and even pushing a black-pudding from one end of the pitch to the other. However, Steff Wright has promised to fight someone in the centre circle of the pitch, in a sumo wrestling fight.

The person who gets to choose the person Steff will be fighting, is the Lincoln City "Superfan" or in other words, the person who gets the most money for City during this campaign. City are someway off the target of £50,000 however, despite being second only to MK Dons out of all the League 2 clubs.

Steff Wright set out on a 5 hour mission to film a feature to promote the campaign around the City, including taking on several members of the public including a policeman, several innocent bystanders, and only just missing out on fighting Ben Futcher (see timeframe 1:08 in the clip). So if you were out in Lincoln that day, see if you can see yourself in the video below.
