Refereeing appointment gives City hope

Lincoln City travel to Hartlepool United on Friday night, and the choice of referee will raise hopes with City fans. Mr Shoebridge has refereed one game for both sides this season with hugely contrasting results, including one which Hartlepool haven't had since.
Shoebridge refereed City's match at Wycombe earlier this season, a game where the Imps ended the Chairboy's 8 game winning run with 3-1 victory. His only game in charge of Hartlepool was their home defeat to Barnet, which just happens to be the last League game they lost.
Although Shoebridge has only produced one red this season, he is extremely yellow-happy, producing 67 yellows in just 21 games.
