Fancy paying £8 to watch the reserves?

Lincoln City will travel to Glanford Park next week hoping to retain the Lincolnshire Senior Trophy, but it will cost a surprisingly amount for what is likely to be two reserve sides fighting it out. One of the most dis-organised cup competitions in the world will be settled for the second time in a row between the Imps and the Iron, City aiming to repeat last August's success.
The Lincolnshire Senior Cup is heavily disorganised. The semi finals for the 07/08 season's competion were played before the final of the 06/07 season. Last season's final came just 10 days before this season started and the Imps came out victorious in that match.
It was one of the rare occasions that the Imps have fielded a near full strength team in the competition. However, don't expect the same this season with the season still going. An adult aiming to go to next Wednesday's final will be asked to pay £8 for the pleasure of watching what will probably be the reserves side.
Children will be paying £4 and this pricing structure has seen Scunthorpe decide to only open one stand, the Scunthorpe Telegraph Stand.
Kick off for next Wednesday's game is 7:30pm.
