certainly jacko is proving any doubters wrong. compared to this time last year, a poor team and signing croft/torpey, now we have oakes kovacs sinclair and graham, and he is stil only 29, definantly him and wright could do a job!

Promotion 08/09, wasnt sure, but from these signings i have virtually positive now, especially after jacko last night, the man is a hero. Lewis emmanuel tonight? would be yet another great signing.

i think we are probably another striker, left back and goalie away from a promotion winning side. and we know that 2 of these are going to sign so hopefully a striker with pace and then we will be serious contenders

On his day far too good for this division if we can renew his interest in football this signing will be some coup.

i am stating a fact he hasnt set the world alight at Gillingham they got relegated. They coulndt see any future for him so offloaded him.

You say i am always negative what gives you all the right to be positive about signings. jacko after all isnt the Messiah even he can get it wrong.

We are seeing again a manager looking at players from the past at old clubs. Why do managers never seem to bring in mnay players outside of those paramaters.

The only players so far that might have been a good signing is Kovacs but i will reserve judgment till the season starts. The question with him is why wasnt he being played regularely at Chesterfield

Wrong again. He played in 41 games last season. If that isn't playing regularly then I don't know what is.

Another good signing! I was always a big fan of Graham when he was down at Torquay, prooven goalscorer at this level.

If he were that highly thought of why has he accepted a 6 month contract surely he would be looking for the standard 2 year deal which other clubs would be offering for a striker especialy as strikers seem to be in short supply

good point, then again Ollie Ryan had 6 months maybe it's a trail, but we needed to get him quickly before any other club becuase he's a quality player ?

probably 6 months to prove himself and go from there.
