Frecklington set for his "sideways" move

Lee Frecklington is all set to make a move to Peterborough United just over a year after describing moving to the Posh as a "sideways" move, since then the men from London Road have won promotion and are chasing for a top 6 League One finish this term, whereas City are still midtable in League Two.

A lot of Peterborough fans jeered Frecklington when he came onto the pitch in the Posh's 4-0 victory over City last season, that came after the Imps had rejected two offers for the midfielder and he himself said he wouldn't be interested as it was a sideways move.

Since then Peterborough have gone from strength to strength with a squad of huge potential, ranging from George Boyd to Craig M-Smith to Aaron McLean, a side that could be easily midtable in the Championship and now Frecklington will join that squad on loan until the end of the season before joining them permanently in the summer for a reported £175,000.
