Frank leaves and James joins

Frank Sinclair's Lincoln City career could be over after the defender left Sincil Bank on loan during the last day before the loan deadline passed. He has joined Wycombe Wanderers and will sit down with Peter Jackson in the summer to discuss his future at the Imps. Meanwhile, James Bennett has joined from Hull City.

Sinclair had played 24 games for the Imps before this move and despite not making any mistakes that lead to goals, he was the victim of some criticism from fans, some prefering Janos Kovacs' inability to mark players. Frank has now joined Wycombe Wanderers for their promotion run in, potentially appearing for them in the Playoffs after their seemingly guaranteed promotion has gone to pot again.

Meanwhile, James Bennett has joined on loan from Hull City as Jackson seems to think a midfield is the best way to defend. Bennett is a central midfielder and will compete for one of the four starting positions along with Michael O'Connor, Scott Kerr, Dany N'Guessan, Stefan Oakes, Aaron Brown and several youngsters potentially coming from the academy.
