Imps hunting non-league hotshot?

The Imps are believed to be one of several clubs that are interested in signing Sleaford Town's prolific striker, Miles Hunter. The 21 year old has scored 25 goals in just 18 games so far this season, making him one of the most prolific strikers in the entire country.

Hunter was with the Imps when he started his career, but quickly moved onto Deeping Rangers after also spending time with Boston United. Moving to Sleaford Town several months ago, he has since formed a partnership with Ryan Oliver and it's working wonders as Miles has scored 25 and Oliver has hit 9, making them one of the most formidable partnerships in the non-league.

Having already rejected a move back to Boston United, the Echo has reported that both the Imps and Notts County are interested in the youngster. It would appear that a League side would be the most likely destination for HUnter if he did leave Eslaforde Park, with his manager already confirming that he wouldn't get in the youngster's way.

Whether this turns out to be true or just another piece of transfer speculation is very much up to debate, and you can't argue City need a striker.

be very surprised if he was able to make step up to football league on basis on watching him quite alot.

is a good player but would need to beef up a bit to do well at football league and a good strike partner with him

Difference is that Sam Mullarkey never had a proven record in non-league.

Sam Mularkey was playing at a higher level I believe though.
