Unlike the draw for the first round, City were one of the last teams out of the bowl. They travel to either Southend United or Canvey Island. Their match goes to a replay. So either way, fans can book a trip to south Essex.

After Southend or Canvey were drawn, the Imps were getting very excited as 2 of the 5 teams left in the draw were Lincoln and Scunthorpe, however, mere seconds later, City had to settle for a trip down to Southern Essex no matter the result of the 1st Round tie between Southend and C/I. They drew 1-1 on Sunday afternoon so now the Imps have to wait until a week on Tuesday to find out their opponents.
