City are out for revenge against one of the poorer teams in the Division. Last season, Boston United took 4 points of the Imps including a 2-0 win at York Street, however, a year later and the Imps looked poised as they are equipped to reverse their fortunes against the Pilgrims.
BOSTON UNITED VS LINCOLN CITY - 26TH DECEMBER 2003
The last away game of 2003 sees the Imps looking to defend a proud record of only 13 defeats in this calender year. However, it will not be easy given the recent history against Boston which saw the Pilgrims take 4 points off the Imps whilst season whilst winning 3-1 on aggregate.
TEAM NEWS FOR THE IMPS
Francis Green says he's ready to return but it is unlike Gary Simpon will want to use the striker despite the Imps seemingly struggling up front since his injury. Richard Liburd has however, definatly recovered from his injury.
TEAM NEWS FOR BOSTON
Ex-Premiership player, Daryl Sutch is Boston's only major injury doubt which means that the "ever-green" Neil Redfearn is almost guaranteed to start against one of his MANY clubs. The player has been the main source of goals for the Pilgrims this season so it will be important to contain him.
The main threats from the Boston games last season have both left the club. Daryl Clare left the club soon after scoring the 2nd goal in the game at York Street after falling out with manager, Neil Thompson. Richard Logan has gone to Peterborough on loan and has impressed 'Boroughs mananager, Barry Fry.
MOST RECENT RESULTS AGAINST BOSTON

BOSTON 1 LINCOLN 2
BOSTON 0 LINCOLN 1
PREDICTIONS
Neither team has had a good few weeks, Boston haven't won in 5 and the Imps have won 1 of the last 4, all away. However, the local derby element will prove important and the Imps fans will almost be outnumber Boston fans in their own ground. This will prove a major factures and I can forsee a narrow 2-1 victory for the Imps.
