Imps kick off 2nd half against draw specialists
By Nathan Jackson
January 12 2004
The Imps begin the 2nd half of the season in their first home game for 5 weeks when they entertain Cambridge. 6 of the last 7 games between the sides have ended in draws but the victory over Boston could spark a very welcome change to that fact.
LINCOLN CITY VS CAMBRIDGE UNITED - 28TH DECEMBER 2003
The 2nd half of the season is finally beginning and the Imps set it off by entertaining Cambridge in the first game at Sincil Bank for 5 weeks.
TEAM NEWS FOR THE IMPS
Francis Green has now fully recovered from his injury but Cropper and Butcher are both doubts as both had to go off in the local derby gain. Cropper is believed to have a broken nose whilst Butcher has more than likely strained his thigh.
TEAM NEWS FOR CAMBRIDGE
Cambridge have 3 former Lincoln players in the team but it is unlikely any will feature on Sunday. Bimson is injured whilst Fleming and Walker have both just come back from suspensions emposed on them by the club. The only reason they got out is becuase they wrote to the PFA but haven't featured in the team, not even in the reserves since the end of December.
Cambridge's leading scorer this season is Dave Kitson, however, he moved to Reading on boxing day.

PREDICTIONS
Looking at the previous results, you would automatically think that a draw would be a safe bet but I get a feeling City can put together a comprehensive victory against Cambridge.
