The Imps are set to lose Richard Butcher for 8-10 weeks after scans showed he has "Grade 2 strain of his medial collateral ligaments" in his left leg. This will be a major blow for the Imps who only recently got Butcher back from injury.

This couldn't have come at a worse time for the Imps as we enter the biggest month of the season so far. The midfielder will be out for a minimum of 8-10 weeks and possibly the rest of the season.

Butcher has scored some spectacular goals this season with long range shots against York, Southend and Mansfield all being his pick of the bunch.

The Imps just got Butcher back from an injury which saw the Imps fail to win in his absense.
