Boston United have signed Dene Cropper until the end of the season on a free transfer from Lincoln City. The striker, who to be fair, wasn't the most prolific at the club has gone 18 months without a goal.

Cropper's last goal was in October 2002 in the away trip at Wrexham. His only other goals, were at home to Rochdale and Bournemouth.

Many were suprised when the striker started the playoff final ahead of Simon Yeo who had gone on a little scoring run.
