Dean West secures City transfer

SHOCK!!!! WE'VE SIGNED SOMEONE. Dean West has rejoined the Imps after being released by Burnley. It would be great if the Imps could get the same sort of results in his first game as we did in his first game the first time around, a 6-2 win over Carlisle.

West's transfer was however, one of the worst kept secrets of the summer as he and Shane Nicholson had been constantly linked with the Imps. Nicholson eventually chose to go to Chesterfield but West's transfer comes as no suprise.

He first played for the Imps in the very last game of the 1990/1 season scoring the goal of the game in the last minute of a 6-2 win against Carlisle. He had also played for Boston, Bury and Burnley.
