Keith named Manager of the Month

December 2 2004
Imps boss Keith Alexander has won the League 2 Manager of the month for November. A perfect 9 points from 3 games in the league managed to convince the panel (Chris Kamara) to choose Keith over Scunthorpe's Brian Laws as well as Graham Barrow and Steve Parkin of Macclesfield & Rochdale respectively.
3 wins from 3 league games in November saw the Imps raise from the bottom half of the table to 5th place and only a win away from 2nd places. The Imps also scored 9 goals in November whilst only conceeding 3. The only blemish on the month was the FA Cup defeat against Hartlepool.
In nearly 2 and a half years of managing the Imps, Keith hasn't won this award despite the Imps going plenty of other months in that time undefeated. Infact, a total of 6 months have gone by where the Imps have got more points than anyone else yet Keith wasn't even considered half the time.
November's Results
City 3-2 Northampton
Hartlepool 3-0 City (FA Cup)
Darlington 0-3 City
City 3-1 Yeovil
