Imps manager Keith Alexander has spoken out about rumours circulating about the bid for Boston United's Lee Beevers after various reports had said the Imps had signed the Welsh Under-21 defender.

"I can categorically state that he has not signed. We have made an offer and it has been accepted but I've not spoken to the lad yet. I'm going to try and get it sorted by next week but who knows? I know that another club has made a higher bid than us but if he wants to play for a team that have got a chance of going up he needs to come for us."
