Imps boss Keith Alexander has revealed he wants to bring another midfielder to Sincil Bank. Although refusing to comment, early speculation leads to it possibly being Cambridge's Luke Gutteridge.

When asked about who the new midfielder could possible be, Alexander told the Echo, "I am not in a position to name names, but I am currently making phone calls. It is not going to be easy at this stage of the season because most sides still have something to play for, but I will keep trying."

Keith's transfer targets have never remained secret for long, most recently Defri (or Derek as he's otherwise known) Asamoah was outed as Keith's transfer target a few minutes after he said he was after someone.

Keith is looking to add to his midfield which only has 3 recognised first teamers in it, Ricky Butcher, Ritchie Hanlon and Peter Gain with youth teamers Lee Frecklington, Jack Hobbs and Oliver Ryan also believed to be on the fringes of the first team.

Fans have already started speculating as to who the new man might be with Cambridge's Luke Gutteridge everyone's most likely signing.
