Defri (or Derek as he's otherwise known) Asamoah scored his first goal the Imps in a reserve fixture against Halifax Town in a game that City dominated from start to finish, eventually winning 4-1.

Asamoah's goal was followed by efforts from Ritchie Hanlon and two from substitute Oliver Ryan before Halifax got a late consolation.

There were many other plus's in the game other than Asamoah's first goal for the Imps. Chris Cornelly lasted the full 90 minutes and Oliver Ryan showed why he is tipped to break into the first team next season.
