Striker Marcus Richardson has left the Imps by mutual consent. Richardson has been suspended for 6 weeks, along with Ciaran Toner thanks to a training ground bust up between the two. After an unsuccessful loan spell at Rochdale, Lincoln and Richardson no longer see a future together.

Richardson joined the Imps from Hartlepool and played 67 games in the two loan spells and after his permanent move. He scored 14 goals in his 17 months. Many fans will be happy to see Richardson go as his showings weren't exactly the most enthusiastic or stuck in as the Imps fans are used to.

Marcus is rumoured to be already organising training with an unnamed League Two club.
