Imps to face Macclesfield in playoffs

The way results have panned out this afternoon, City now know that they will be facing Macclesfield Town in the Playoff Semi Finals unless the Silkmen suffer a shock defeat to Rushden and Diamonds.

With the table currently as it is, City can now only finish 5th or 6th (unless an unrealistic turn over of 12 goals happens next Saturday). With that being the situation, that means that City definatly won't be facing Scunthorpe, Swansea, Yeovil or Southend in the semi finals. City currently lay in 5th place, level on 72 points with Macclesfield who are 3 clear of both Northampton and Darlington meaning that Lincoln vs Macclesfield will be one of the semi finals unless the Silkmen lose against Rushden and Diamonds.
