Lincoln City youth team player, Jack Hobbs is being strongly linked with a move to Arsenal. The highly rated teenager who became City's youngest ever football league player in January has been the subject of several scout reports to premiership clubs and Arsenal are amoungst several clubs interested

The highly rated 16 year old is believed to being followed by several Premiership clubs including the recently de-crowned champions Arsenal, Aston Villa, Spurs and Bolton. Scouts have been running around Lincoln for the past couple of weeks from various clubs but most thought the scouts were he to watch player such as Yeo, Futcher or Gain. However, it turns out they were here to watch Hobbs.

"I've been made aware several clubs have watched Jack during the course of the season and that comes as no surprise to me," Keith Alexander told the Echo, "However, coming to watch a player is far removed from making an offer and I can categorically say there is nothing on the table for Jack Hobbs. If a club were to come in for him - or any of our young players for that matter - I wouldn't stand in their way. However, Jack is still only 16, with plenty still to learn."

Should the 16 year old go to Arsenal, he will be the first Lincoln player since Darren Huckerby to go from Sincil Bank to the best league in the world.
