Thank god for that

Imps Captain, Paul Morgan has signed a new, 3 year contract with the Imps to see him stay at Sincil Bank until 2008. Morgan, has become a true fans favourite at Sincil Bank after 4 years after signing from Preston. Morgan is rated as one of the best players at this level.

Morgan was linked with a move to Boston this week but has delighted many Imps fans by signing the new contract. I for one found out whilst I was sat at work and I jumped for joy (literally). Morgan is an extremely good defender who really makes a difference to the side, hence the reason he was made captain.

There is no coincedence that under Keith Alexander, Morgan has missed 16 games and we've only gone one of those games without conceeding. A side with Paul Morgan in it is far far different than that without him in.

Meanwhile, Peter Gain has reportedly agreed to a 3 year contract.
