Confusion over extention

A recent letter in the Lincolnshire Echo has thrown confusion all over the place about the redevelopment of Sincil Bank. A Lincoln fan claims that he has been denied the oppurtunity to renew his season ticket in the Lincolnshire Echo stand due to the rebuild of the stand.
You'd think that wouldn't be confusing but then the Official Lincoln site is still allowing people to order season tickets in that stand and the expected work at Sincil Bank not due to start for at least another 5 years.
It was announced a few months ago that there was currently a feasability study into the possibility of expanding the Lincolnshire Echo Stand as part of the redevelopment of the Sincil Bank area, a study that was supposed to last 18 months.
The letter read
My friend and I have supported City for 55 years each.
We both booked seats in the Echo Stand before it was completed and now have been told it will not be available next season because of extension work.
To add insult to injury, I recently received a reminder about new season tickets.
At no time has the word 'sorry' been used. Well, I've got one word to say - goodbye.
