Keith Alexander is all set to try and sign Molango

Keith Alexander is all set to make a bid for trialist striker, Meheta Molango after impressing in his 3 games. The former Athletico Madrid striker has score braces at both Gainsborough and Boston Town and Keith Alexander is extremely keen to add him to the ranks at Sincil Bank.

Molango joined in trial just before the game at Boston Town last week and quickly made a claim for a place in the squad by scoring 2 impressive goals and although he didn't score at Lincoln United, he scored 2 more impressive goals at Gainsborough over the weekend. Speaking to the Echo, Keith Alexander said

"Maheta has done very well for us and I'll be speaking to Brighton about him, The problem is he still has two years of a three-year deal left so I'll have to get in touch with their manager, Mark McGhee, and see if something can be sorted out. He's certainly impressed me in the games he's played so far.
I believe he's got a bit more skill and ability than we've previously been used to and it's a case of trying to encompass that into the way we play. He's scored four goals in three games and I can't fault him for that."

Molango's impact in England was felt just 12 seconds into his Brighton career as he gave them the lead at Reading. However, he fell out of favour at the Withdean and now looks set for a transfer to League 2.
