Molango completes Imps move

Brighton and Hove Albion striker, Meheta Molango has joined the Imps on a year long loan after impressing on trial. Molango has scored 4 goals in pre-season and has gave most defences the run around and is looking to make an impact in League 2 after being told he could leave the Seagulls.

The Swiss born striker adds Lincoln City to his list of clubs including one of Europe's biggest, Athletico Madrid, as well as German side SV Wacker Berghausen and of course, Brighton. Molango still has 2 years to go on his contract at Brighton but in a deal that is beneficial to all parties, the Imps have taken him on loan until next season and in an interview on the radio, he revealed why he decided to join the Imps.

"I'm definatly up for it and really motivated. To be honest, I'd didn't know a lot about Lincoln, I had heard that they had 3 years in the playoffs and about the manager but that was it. They are a young team with a good potential and I read something about the 2010 project in the newspaper and I like a club with this sort of ambition."

Molango's signing has caused a stir in Lincoln as many were impressed with him in pre-season and only time will tell as to how much impact he will have during the season.
