Keates has a good start to his week

Dean Keates has had a good Monday, not only being in the Divisional Team of the Week, but also Imps Player of the Month. The impressive midfielder rounded off an excellent month by smashing in a 35 yard free kick in Saturday's game against Bury and there's no sign of it stopping for a while.

Keates' Monday started with him being announced in the League 2 Team of the week after two excellent performances against Stockport and Bury. Keates joins 3 Grimsby players in the team of the week.

 

Keates' was then voted as the Imps' Player of the Month for September after his incredibly impressive displays throughout September. He just pipped goalkeeper Alan Marriott and Colin Cryan to the award. The midfielder has arguably been the best player for the Imps so far this season and he will no doubt be the different between victory and defeat in a lot of games this season.
