Evans confirms interest in Green

Boston United manager, Steve Evans had confirmed that he is interested in outcase Imps' striker, Francis Green. The striker has fallen down so much in the ranks at City, that he can't even make the bench now and hasn't been a regular since critisising Keith's tactics.

We here at theimps.tk, were the first to bring you the news about Boston's interested on Saturday evening, a full 3 days before everyone else caught up and now, Steve Evans has confirmed that he is interested in acquiring the services of Green.

On Boston's official site, Evans stated, ""It is no secret that we have enquired about a number of players, including Francis Green, with the main emphasis on a wide midfield player and a striker. It is most important that we cover all options given how small our squad is. These signings are needed if we are to continue in our current rich vein of form. "

Green, after being a regular in the squad since joining from Peterborough in September 2003, found himself left out in the dark after critisising Keith's tactics following the draw at Chester and defeat at Notts County. Despite claims from both parties, it's pretty obvious to everyone why Green went from being a regular, to not even making the bench.
