Imps exit proves beneficial

City's home game with Macclesfield has been brough forward to December 3rd due to both clubs exits from the FA Cup. Whilst City were losing to MK Dons, Macc were getting beat by Yeovil and both clubs have decided to make the most of a free weekend by bring forward the game by 4 days.

The game was originally to be played on Tuesday 6th December but will instead be played on Saturday 3rd December with a 3pm kick off. This will be the first game against the Silkmen since the playoffs last season, which saw them Imps' progress with a 2-1 aggregate win.

City have won the last 5 meetings between the clubs at Sincil Bank and have kept clean sheets in 4 of those games.
