City are at it again

Lincoln City have announced a 3rd straight annual profit with a figure of £162,000, following from last years £735,000. Overall, within the last 3 years, the club have made a £1 million profit and that has come from the playoff campaigns, raised gates and sponsership deals.

What makes the profit even more impressive, is the fact that unlike the last figure, no players were sold and therefore no money from transfer fees and especially considering that Keith spent £50,000 on Lee Beevers and a reported £10,000 on Derek Asamoah towards the end of the last season.

The major talking point will be what the board do with the money as many believe that the money should be put into the team, especially considering that the team aren't hitting any sort of decent form at the minute. Most however, are expecting the money to go no-where near Keith's budget.
