Green finally loaned out to Boston

4 weeks ago, theImps.tk exclusively revealed the Francis Green was heading on loan to Boston and it was finalised today. The goal-shy striker has been surpluss to requirements so far this season and has scored just 1 goal in his 12 outings for City, a strike rate that has been a regular occurance

Green, like his fellow "striker", Derek Asamoah are very goalshy and with over 30 games between them this season, have totted up a massive amount of 2 goals and Keith is looking offload Green who is seen by many Imps fans, as a waste of a striker.

Green has joined Boston on loan until January 7th (which doesn't abide with the new transfer window rulings) but he will not be eligable for Boston's trip to Sincil Bank on Boxing Day.

Green joined the Imps in 2003 after a transfer saga and made his debut in a 2-0 away win at Southend. His first goal for the Imps capped a fine display by City in a 3-1 away win at Scunthorpe which saw the Imps through on goal 14 times. Green has never scored more than once in a competitive game whilst in a City shirt.

Many doubt Green will for City again.
