Try to keep this quiet but......HE'S BACK

After numerous rumours linking him to a move back to Sincil Bank, Simon Yeo has finally agreed to rejoin the Imps. Yeo will rejoin the Imps after being released by New Zealand Knights last week and his first game will be against Mansfield Town on January 2nd.

Yeo, complete with a rather sheepish tan, officially agreed to rejoin the Imps on Thursday afternoon. Yeo originally signed for the Imps in May 2002 and went onto to scored 39 goals in 122 league appearances, including an impressive 23 in last year's campaign.

Imps chairman, Ray Trew stated on the Imps' official website, "We've done a deal with Simon that agreeable to both parties. We hope he will be with us for years to come"

Keith Alexander was also delighted have Simon back. "I'm delighted to have Simon back, he is a proven goalscorer and we're hoping he'll score goals again now that he's back with us."

Yeo rejected offers from Oxford United, Stockport and Chesterfield to rejoin the Imps and injury provided, will make his re-debut in the local derby vs Mansfield on January 2nd. Although, Marvin Robinson has extended his deal to the end of the season with the Imps.
